Whistleblowing

At UBA UK, we are committed to maintaining a culture of transparency, integrity and ethical behaviour. We encourage our employees or any third parties to report any concerns or suspected instances of misconduct within the organisation without fear of retaliation. Speaking up in good faith when you become aware of or suspect wrongdoing demonstrates integrity and courage to do the right thing.

To facilitate this, we have partnered with Safecall, an independent whistleblowing service provider, to enable the secure and confidential reporting of concerns. Safecall is an independent organisation with impartial staff. This service is available 24/7 and can be accessed via their website at www.safecall.co.uk/report or by calling their 24-hour hotline on 08009151571 at any time. Examples of reportable concerns include, but are not limited to:

  • Financial impropriety or fraud
  • – Breaches of laws, regulations, or company policies
  • – Unethical or inappropriate behaviour
  • – Health and safety risks
  • – Discrimination, harassment, or other forms of misconduct.

All reports submitted through Safecall will be promptly and thoroughly investigated. Any report will be treated in a confidential manner and will be properly investigated by senior individuals who are not implicated or otherwise linked to the alleged wrongdoing. You may make your disclosure anonymously or semi-anonymously. It will aid the investigation if you report on a named basis as it will be possible for us to discuss your concern in further detail.

We guarantee that your identity will remain confidential, and you will be protected from any form of detrimental treatment or retaliation.

This hotline should not be used to report:

To ensure compliance with applicable laws, anyone reporting a concern should do so voluntarily and for proper lawful purposes only. Please try to keep the matters you are reporting to facts as opposed to opinions or comments and refrain from providing any sensitive personal data unless this is essential to your submission.
